Amongst the many party guests was Mayor of Bournemouth, Councillor Edward Coope, and three Sunrise of Westbourne centenarians.
The guests celebrated with a special homemade cake, champagne, and enjoyed a special performance from the Supreme Palm Court Trio, who are all members of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. The performance was made all the more meaningful with Franck Laprince, a part time Sunrise team member, playing the violin and representing the Sunrise talent.
Many of the staff members at Sunrise of Westbourne have served at the community since the very beginning, with many achieving Long Service awards as a result of their hard work and commitment.
James Glanville, General Manager – who joined Sunrise of Westbourne in November 2016 – said:
“We were so delighted to celebrate our 11th birthday with residents, family members, friends, and the Mayor.
“In the short period of time that I have been here, I have already been able to observe that the success and longevity of Sunrise of Westbourne is a tribute to both the residents we serve and our incredibly dedicated staff members. The team continuously goes above and beyond expectations. I am so proud to be managing this fantastic care community.”
