Peterborough care home announces new General Manager

Barchester care home Braeburn Lodge, has announced that Fiona Johnston has joined the Home as General Manager.

Fiona has been nursing for over 40 years but has spent a significant time in health and social care having previously managed a high quality home in Peterborough for twelve years. She has also worked with the local Alzheimer’s society and plans to maintain those links.

Fiona said after visiting and being interviewed at Braeburn Lodge, ‘the environment is beautiful, they have a highly committed and passionate staff team and I would be privileged to lead them and take the home to the next level. We agree that for the elderly frail a place of safety and contentment is a priority and that each and every opportunity for socialising, partying and celebrating must be embraced at the same time as remembering the little things matter when delivering quality personalised care.’
