Meadow House Nursing Home in Swaffham has proudly announced its success at Norfolk Care Awards. The home was named as the winner of the ‘excellent person centred care and support’ award at the Norfolk Care Awards, where it was also ‘highly commended’ in the team category. The team received its award at a ceremony at Sprowston Manor on February 23rd.
Meadow House has been repeatedly recognised for its exceptional standards of care, and was the first care home in Norfolk to be rated as outstanding by the Care Quality Commission.*
The team provides dedicated residential care for people with a physical disability, specialising in care for people with Multiple Sclerosis. Day-care and respite services are also available. All staff work with a commitment to person-centred care and continually work to find new and innovative ways of delivering the best service possible.
Home Manager Maria Seitan said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have been recognised by an award programme that is designed to celebrate excellence in care. Winning at the Norfolk Care Awards was such an honour: we know how hard all of the nominees work in order to care for their residents and it was great to celebrate together. We are all extremely proud to be recognised.”
