A STOCKTON school choir have been entertaining elderly residents with carols – heralding the start of Christmas.
The young singers from Ingleby Manor School performed classics such as “We wish you a merry Christmas” and “Silent Night” to the delight of residents at Ingleby Care Home.
They were accompanied by Deputy Head Teacher Mr Chris Ray, conductor Mrs Sally Butler and pianist Mr Mozin Ali.
Carol Singleton, Home Manager at Ingleby Care Home, on Lamb Lane, Ingleby Barwick, said: “What a thrilling performance from the amazing Manor School choir. It really got us all in the Christmas spirit.
“We can’t thank them enough for dropping by to entertain our residents. They thoroughly enjoyed the performance and were even singing along themselves to a few numbers.”
