Allingham House Care Home featured in a news story on Granada TV last week.
The home, part of the Maria Mallaband Care Group, is located in Timperley, Altrincham and offers residential, nursing and dementia care for 86 residents, across 3 floors.
The local TV News Channel became interested when they found out that children from Bright Horizons nursery, a pre-school nursery which is next door to Allingham House, are now regular visitor’s to the home.
Gulzar Nazir, Home Manager and his team came up with the concept, after seeing how happy and animated their residents became, when children called into Allingham House.
The next visit from the little ones, with whom they have formed a special relationship with, will be Tuesday 20th December, when they will sing Christmas Carols for everyone.
