Rosebank Care Home celebrated the birthday of Mickey Mouse in true Disney style as they opened their magical doors to family, friends and the community.
Guests, staff and residents donned their favourite Disney costumes and enjoyed a fairytale inspired tea party, with a castle cake centerpiece, in the surroundings of the beautifully transformed care home.
Exciting games for all ages, and a magician performing wizardly tricks, ensured the day was full of wonder and surprise.
Lifestyle support co-ordinator, Gemma Foster, said: “A truly magical day for all at Rosebank. The day brought out the child in all of us and it was lovely to see so many guests enjoying the celebrations with our residents.”
Mary Taylor, resident, added: “I thought it was wonderful, I couldn’t believe all the effort and hard work put in by the staff. The chef also made a beautiful cake. The magician delighted the children and us all and I had the privilege of judging the fancy dress competition.”
Rosebank Care Home in Bampton takes pride in the wide range of social events and activities it offers throughout the year.
