Helen McArdle Care’s new flagship care home, Fleming Court, is located on Burdon Terrace and will employ over 60 staff from the local area. The home will provide residential, dementia and respite care, and has been designed to offer a unique living space, purpose-built to ensure that residents have a high quality of life and that they receive the very best care. Facilities include: ensuite bedrooms with shower and doors out into the gardens, restaurant, cinema café, bar, orangery, terraces and balconies, beauty salon, bowling green and sensory garden.
Heading up the team at Fleming Court is Suzanne Hughes, who has extensive experience of managing care homes, she said: “I am delighted to be managing Fleming Court and I am excited to have been given the opportunity to commission my first new care home. At Fleming Court we have created a lifestyle that reflects the dignity and luxury that older people deserve and I am very excited to welcome our first residents.”
The Fleming Court community open day is this Sunday between 11am and 4pm.
“Everyone is welcome to come and have a look around, find out what we have to offer and meet the team. We have already made some great relationships in the community and we are looking forward to developing these in the coming months.”
Upcoming community events at Fleming Court include weekly restaurant evenings, coffee mornings and an Elf Day to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
