Moss Rose Juniors football club players are sporting a brand new kit, thanks to sponsorship from specialist care village, Belong Macclesfield on Kennedy Avenue.
The team recently visited the care village, where they spent the afternoon getting to know residents and showing off their new orange and blue home and away kits, that proudly display Belong Macclesfield’s logo. Residents enjoyed interacting with the footballers and seeing the team’s trophy collection.
Moss Rose Juniors chairman, Gary Foy said: “The club has really benefited from Belong’s sponsorship; the players are very excited about their brand new kit which we wouldn’t have been able to buy without Belong’s help and we all really enjoyed our visit to the care village.”
Caroline Ray, General Manager of Belong Macclesfield said: “It was lovely to see the different generations getting on so well when Moss Rose Junior players came to visit our village. We are really pleased to be supporting our local team and look forward to seeing them winning many more trophies in the future!”
The club, made up of 28 players in its under 11s and under 12s teams, train once a week with fully qualified coaches and play each weekend in the local league, at Macclesfield Town Football Club stadium
