Vida Healthcare – a care provider specialising in supporting people living with dementia – is on track to open its brand new, state-of-the-art home in Harrogate this December.
Vida Grange, located on the old Dunlopillo site on Princess Royal Way in Pannal, Harrogate, will provide 124 much-needed beds, as well as day care services and respite care to the local area and beyond. It will also create more than 200 jobs.
The care provider has also announced that the home will offer a dedicated service to younger people – making it one of the first homes in the region providing support to people under 65.
Vida Healthcare’s first home, Vida Hall in Starbeck, was rated ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC soon after opening. James Rycroft, Vida Healthcare’s managing director has high expectations for the new development, commenting: “Vida Grange will follow the same philosophy of care as Vida Hall, which means residents and their families can expect the same high standards of care and support.”
Those who regularly pass by the site will have noticed the building taking shape over the past nine months. With the development now moving into its final phase, a section of the home is now open for private viewings, by appointment. The home has also opened its waiting list for people who would like to officially register their interest.
