Now in their tenth year, the HealthInvestor Awards promote excellence and recognise achievements and innovation in the independent healthcare sector. The winners were announced at an awards ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, attended by over 1,200 people.
Voyage is a specialist provider with over 25 years’ experience of supporting individuals with a wide range of needs, including learning disabilities, physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, challenging behaviours, autistic spectrum and mental health conditions.
They support over 3,000 people, offering personalised support in people’s own homes and communities as well as support in specialist residential settings across the UK.
Over 90 per cent of Voyage’s services have been rated good or outstanding by the Care Quality Commission and the company prides itself on delivering personalised care and support that enables the people it supports to live the life they want and to achieve their personal goals and aspirations.
Commenting on Voyage’s success, the HealthInvestor judges said: “2015, was a great year for Voyage, underpinned throughout with an unflinching focus on tailoring innovative support care pathways for the individuals in its care. The organisation received recognition from regulators that its compliance and service delivery record was outstanding, thereby marking it out as a sector leader and underpinning its ethos of being at the leading edge of quality-assured governance.”
Andrew Cannon, Voyage’s chief executive, also praised the skills and expertise of his staff. He said: “To be recognised for our commitment to providing excellent care is a fantastic achievement for all of our team members and is testament to their expertise and hard work over the past year.
“Our aim is always to deliver the best possible care for the people we support and we’re proud to be leading the way in our sector.”
