Although the weather was grim with unrelenting rain, the team from Caremark (Barnsley) provided a splash of colour amongst the umbrellas and waterproofs, with their blue uniforms and distinctive, blue and white branded vehicles.
Registered Care Manager, Cathryn Fewster commented: “”The dreadful weather didn’t stop our team and the crowds having a really good time. We had such fun! Our team were brilliant and they looked terrific in their cars in the procession. Our families and friends also came along to support us.
Cathryn continued: “We were delighted to be involved as we have done it year on year now and are pleased to be a part of such an important traditional event. We were amazed at the numbers of lovely people who recognized us and had some smashing conversations with lots people in the crowd.”
Caremark (Barnsley) are a familiar presence in their local community, delivering much needed personalized care and support to people living in their own homes.
The company was first launched in 2011 and has gone from a small, three person operation to an enterprise supporting more than 203 clients with a team of some 170 odd professional care workers.
