Martin Glackin, Glenn Harrold and Sue Johnston received Community Nursing Awards for Long Service from the Queen’s Nursing Institute in Scotland.

Between them the three senior Loretto Care staff have devoted 90 years to nursing – 62 of them for Loretto Care.

Loretto Care, which is part of Wheatley Group, provides care and support services to 2000 people across Scotland.

Director of Loretto Cathy Fallon said: “The fact that our senior staff are registered nurses with so many years’ service under their belts underlines the commitment Loretto Care has to the wellbeing of the people we work for.”

Clare Cable, Chief Executive and Nurse Director of QNIS said “We take great pleasure in awarding Long Service Awards to those nurses who have dedicated at least 21 years of work to the community.  It takes hard-work, commitment and no shortage of skills and knowledge to be able to reach this milestone.”
