Residents at Bridge House care home in Bury were treated to an afternoon of pampering, courtesy of enthusiastic college students.
Much to the delight of residents, seven complimentary therapy students from Bury College joined Bridge House for the afternoon, providing a range of treatments that left residents feeling totally refreshed and relaxed.
Residents were treated to arm, hand and foot massages, and manicures. Residents commented on how much they enjoyed the visit and how relaxed they all felt.
Activities Co-ordinator Lizz Morley said:
“We love providing unique activities that make residents feel special. Everyone had a lovely day, and we look forward to welcoming back the college students for some more fun activities.”
Bridge House is part of the Embrace Group and offers dementia care, elderly residential, day care and respite care to older people.
