Tracscare, the leading specialist provider of care and support for adults with challenging and complex needs, has strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of Dr Felix Davies as Chief Operating Officer.
Dr Davies’ appointment is evidence of Tracscare’s commitment to providing the highest quality care and support. With expertise in acute, community, social care and primary care settings, Felix has been a member of a number of national policy and strategy groups for the Department of Health and NHS Confederation, and he is currently a member of the Mental Health Advisory Group for Health Education England.
Dr Davies has a wealth of experience in health and social care. He joins Tracscare from Beacon UK, where he was Interim Director of Operations and Business Development. Previously, he was Director of Community Health at the Priory Group and Mental Health Managing Director at Turning Point. His early career was as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Director of Psychological Services within NHS Trusts. Dr Davies has led services across the breadth of Tracscare’s portfolio – mental health, learning disabilities, autism and acquired brain injury – and his clinical work has covered the same.
Tracscare is investing in strengthening its senior management team to ensure it is well placed to consolidate and grow the organisation. The creation of the new position of Chief Operating Officer will ensure Tracscare retains its position as the leading care and support provider for individuals with acquired brain injury, mental health needs, autism and learning disabilities throughout 2016 and beyond.
