The residents of Augustus Court were joined by children from two local schools for a day of Easter celebrations at the Garforth care home this week.
Students from Strawberry Fields and St. Benedict’s joined the staff and residents at the home for an enjoyable day of Easter fun.
The groups took part in an interactive day making welcome cards for the new residents of the home and Easter bonnets, before taking part in an Easter egg hunt.
Care Centre Manager Mary Usher said:
“Our new residents are settling in well and we were all thrilled to welcome the local schoolchildren to Augustus Court this week.
We look forward to hosting many more events this year and getting to know the local community better.”
