Christie logoLound Hall, situated in the village of Lound just off the A12 between Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth, has been sold by Christie & Co.

The well-respected home had been owned by Christopher Christou and Mark Binns since 2002 and they have now sold to semi-retire, although they will continue to have an interest in their domiciliary care agency locally.  The new owners are experienced care operators KRG Care Homes Limited who also own nearby Manor Farm Care Home in the village of Kessingland.

Lound Hall consists of an impressive Georgian manor house with modern extensions and stands in extensive landscaped grounds.  It features elegant dayrooms and ensuite bedroom accommodation for up to 43 residents.

Robert Mellamphy, Director at Christie & Co, who handled the sale said: “This is a quality care home rated “Good” by the Care Quality Commission in October. It has been purchased by a group operator with another care home close by, which was also rated “Good” by the Care Quality Commission last year. This sale is a further illustration of the demand we are experiencing for good quality care businesses across East Anglia.”

Christopher Christou and Mark Binns, commented: “It was important for us to entrust Lound Hall to a buyer who has the same ethos of delivering the best possible care.”
