Residents of Pitcairn Lodge Care Home in Westhill, Aberdeen and their families gathered together for the annual Christmas party, where they had festive fun with a sing-a-long Christmas extravaganza.
Staff donned colourful Christmas jumpers and ran a range of fun activities to entertain the crowd. This included a bumper raffle that raised an incredible £350, and will ensure residents have a truly special Christmas. A festive feast was also on offer, and guests were able to enjoy mince pies and a chocolate log. Residents and their guests were then treated to a sing-a-long ‘Let It Snow’ show put on by Cat’s Pyjamas Productions, who performed a medley of Christmas classics. Of course, no Christmas party would be complete without a visit from Father Christmas, who delivered boxes of biscuits to all the residents.
Moira Taylor, Service Manager at Pitcairn Lodge, commented:
“It was a lovely afternoon, the residents and their families really enjoyed the sing-a-long. The visit from Father Christmas brought a truly festive atmosphere to Pitcairn Lodge, and a big thank you must go to everyone who made the event such as success. We wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year. ”
