Castleoak and Anchor celebrate opening of marketing suite at £12.5m retirement living scheme in Weybridge

Anchor and construction partner Castleoak have celebrated the opening of the show suite at its £12.5m luxury retirement living development in Weybridge, Surrey. Over 60 people visited the new show suite during its opening weekend, providing a first preview of the high specification retirement apartments that are now available for reservation.

The development of 65 one and two bed luxury, independent living apartments offers a wealth of on-site facilities including a hair and beauty salon, a treatment room, a coffee shop, lounge and reading room, a tranquil rooftop retreat and beautiful landscaped gardens. The retirement properties, which are being offered exclusively for sale through local estate agents, Hamptons International, Weybridge, will open in winter 2015.

Speaking at the event, Rebecca Parker from Anchor said: “There has been a lot of interest in Austin Place and demand is high for retirement properties in Weybridge. Austin Place will offer over 55s the opportunity to live in a spectacular setting with the peace of mind that there are a range of care options available to them without compromising their independence. This has already proven to be a really popular concept in the local community.”

Castleoak Business Development Director, Lex Cumber, adds: “Austin Place is our ninth care development for Anchor and we are proud to be working together to significantly improve the choice of housing for retirement living. We have collaborated with Anchor to deliver desirable apartments in Weybridge that will be a real asset to the local community.”

Austin Place will open in December 2015. For more information call 0808 250 1485 or visit www.anchor.org.uk
