TEESSIDE care home residents donned their dance shoes to celebrate My Two Left Feet Week.
The Gables Care Home, on Highfield Road in Middlesbrough, organised a coffee, cake and tea dance afternoon at Grove Hill Methodist Church Hall.
The Marton Road venue hosted dozens of elderly residents, care home staff, family and friends as a local tea dance group put them through their paces.
Two other local care homes also took part, Grove Lodge Care Home and Longlands Care Home, also both from Middlesbrough.
Naaila Rehman, activities coordinator at The Gables Care Home, said: “We wanted to organise this event to bring the local community together.
“It’s also a great way to get our residents active and taking part in something new.
“My Two Left Feet Week was launched to encourage more of us to take up dance for fun and as a form of exercise.
“The benefits are huge for everyone, especially our elderly residents, as it improves their mobility, health and emotional wellbeing.”
