NorseCare, Norfolk’s largest care home provider is celebrating winning a national care award at the Laing Buisson Independent Specialist Care Awards 2015.
NorseCare, who manage 23 residential care homes and provide the care in 14 housing with care schemes all over Norfolk, were delighted to receive the award for Best Care Home Provider. Managing Director Karen Knight and 2 of their care home managers were presented with the award by BBC Breakfast TV’s Bill Turnbull.
Healthcare experts, LaingBuisson hosted the awards in London, where care providers and specialists received recognition for their innovation and excellence in the specialist care sector. Finalists were shortlisted for a wide range of accolades including; excellence in dementia care, autistic spectrum services and personalisation.
Karen Knight spoke after the awards: “I want to thank each and every one of our staff for this amazing result which represents an award to every single person working within the company. It is full recognition of every individual’s hard work and dedication to our residents and tenants and we should all be very proud of what we do.”
The award continues a month of success for NorseCare after Lloyd Court in High Kelling, North Norfolk won the Effective coordination of end of life care award and Weavers Court in Diss, South Norfolk were finalists in the Excellence in delivering dementia care category at the Norfolk Care Awards held in February 2015.
