A DORSET care home marked Comic Relief with a ‘Just Like That’ tribute to Tommy Cooper.

Record-breaker Clive Greenaway, a professional Tommy Cooper impersonator, performed a special one-hour show at Colten Care’s Canford Chase in Poole.

Clive has just entered the Guinness Book of Records after managing to tell 26 jokes in a minute, smashing the previous record of 21.

He performed a classic Tommy Cooper routine, featuring jokes and magic tricks, with proceeds donated to Comic Relief.

His audience included staff and residents at Canford Chase as well as relatives and members of the local community.

Other Red Nose Day events at Colten Care homes included:

  • A Mad Hatter’s Day at Avon Cliff, Bournemouth, with guests wearing silly hats of their choice together with fun and games, quizzes and live music from entertainer Tracey Martin.

  • An ‘Amberwood’s Got Talent’ show at Amberwood House, Ferndown. Team members wore costumes and performed to residents and their families.

  • Face painting and fun activities at The Aldbury, Parkstone.
