Following the announcement that Hartford Care’s state-of-the-art care home in Fair Oak, Eastleigh had been shortlisted in the ‘Best New Care Home’ category, the judging panel visited the facility on 24 February to learn more about the detailed design of the home.
During the visit Jon Chapman, Director at Pinders, presented the project team with their trophy along with a cheque for £500 for Hartford Care’s nominated charity, Age Concern Hampshire.
Sean Gavin, CEO received the award on behalf of the Hartford Care team and said “We are very proud of each of our homes and Sunnybank House is a product of all the experiences that we have enjoyed and learned from many years of providing great care. We are delighted to have been shortlisted as finalists for this prestigious award. Sunnybank House opened back in September last year and is now a great place to live and work. We are really looking forward to attending the official awards ceremony.”
Hartford Care’s philosophy of care is to understand and respect each person’s individuality and provide everything they need to live a dignified and fulfilling life. As such, every element of design at Sunnybank House is tailored to correspond to Hartford Care’s core values of care, comfort and companionship.
Sunnybank House has been thoughtfully-designed to create a homely residence that incorporates 60 bedrooms with en-suite wet rooms, within state-of-the-art facilities which have been purpose-designed to meet the individual needs of residents. The end result is exceptional but comfortable accommodation.
The overall winners will be announced at an award ceremony in London in March.
