Precious Homes Ltd is pleased to announce that it has once again been awarded the Investors In People Accreditation, in recognition of its ongoing commitment to excellence. The company has held the accreditation since 2002.
The Investors in People (IIP) Core Standard is series of 39 objectives that organisations need to meet to demonstrate their people management practices. Covering everything from business planning and leadership, to management effectiveness and performance measurement, the Standard offers a set of criteria to work towards and a benchmark for best practice.
Simon Griffiths, Director of Operations at Precious Homes, commented, “We’re very pleased to have secured this accreditation again. It demonstrates our commitment to ensuring that we put our people first, which results in a better trained and more confident staff group which is better able to deliver a high standard of service. The report we had back from IIP indicated that we have shown a marked improvement since our last review, which is fantastic news and puts us in good stead to focus on achieving the Bronze IIP standard in future.”
To achieve the re-accreditation, a selection of staff at care-homes and projects across the UK, from senior management to the public-facing carers, took part in four days of interviews designed to review and evaluate the company’s strategy, training plans and leadership. The process takes place every three years.
