Helping Hands Homecare have stepped in at the last moment to ensure all of the families due to receive care at home from Stratford based Choice Healthcare over the Christmas period continued to do so after Choice formally went into administration on 22nd December. The move also saw the employment secured of 35 carers and support staff transferred to Helping Hands following an approach by Warwickshire Social Services late on 18th December.
Speaking on the emergency response Helping Hands CEO, Tim Lee commented, “As soon as we were made aware that vulnerable families were in danger of not receiving the care and companionship they needed we offered to step in with a solution. Our knowledge of homecare in Stratford coupled with our management and care expertise means that we are in a unique position to be able to offer continuity of care and employment for all involved.
