The staff and residents at Tall Trees Care Home have been getting to know their new Manager, Sue Chapman, who took over with the running of the Oxfordshire based Home this month.
Sue has more than 25 years of experience working in healthcare. Having qualified as an Enrolled Nurse in 1974, she spent five years working for the NHS before moving into the care home sector. She held a number of Home and Senior Management positions, before joining Caring Homes in November 2013 as Manager of St George’s, and recently joining Tall Trees Care Home.
‘I am very much looking forward to Joining Tall Trees and interacting with all of the residents, tailoring specific care to their individual needs. I am passionate about supporting my team in their personal and professional development, and have a strong emphasis on ensuring that they have the knowledge, skills and confidence to provide the best care possible.’
The purpose built home provides high-quality residential, nursing and dementia care for up to 60 elderly ladies and gentlemen, offering a full range of support including trial stays, respite breaks and convalescent care as well as long term care. The home is run by the family-owned Caring Homes Group, which was founded in 1994 by mother and son team, Helena and Paul Jeffery.
