A care home in Middlesbrough welcomed visitors of all ages to their activity-packed Christmas fete at the weekend.
The Gables were also joined by Santa and snow queen Elsa from the Disney film ‘Frozen’ at the event on Saturday 6th December.
Children at the fete were very excited to meet old St Nick, tell him their Christmas wishes and pick a present from his lucky dip.
The youngsters were also treated to a sing-along session with Elsa, and were able to have a picture taken with their favourite Disney queen. The fete was also host to a range of stalls and activities including name the teddy, Christmas crafts and a prize tombola.
The event raised £290 for the Residents Fund, which is put towards additional activities and trips out for residents at The Gables.
Liz Jones, Customer Relations Officer at Hill Care, said: “The fete at The Gables was a huge success and greatly enjoyed by the residents and all those who joined us.
“It was wonderful to see everyone having an amazing time by getting involved in the activities and visiting the stalls.
“We are very pleased to have also raised money for the Resident’s Fund and would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended and contributed.”
