Ferfoot Care Home was recently filled with Christmas spirit as the town’s mayor and a local Councillor joined the staff and residents for a Christmas Liqueur Coffee Morning.
Plenty of food was provided for the event, including festive mince pies, homemade Scottish shortbread and cup cakes made by Julie Henley, a member of the team at Ferfoot. Everyone also enjoyed a liqueur coffee alongside their Christmas fayre.
Ferfoot Manager Nicki Stone said it was an exciting day for everyone involved. The Mayor of Chippenham Councillor John Scragg and Cllr Nina Phillips enjoyed socialising with the residents. Nicki said:
‘It was a lovely family occasion as residents enjoyed the festivities and dancing along to Christmas songs with some of our younger visitors. We were very pleased to welcome the Mayor and Cllr Phillips to our event.”
