More than 2o members of the Christchurch Cruisers Club  decorated their bikes with hundreds of fairy lights, dressed up in festive costumes and paid residents at Hartford Care’s The Laurels and Pine Lodge in Oakdale, Poole  a visit to get everyone in the festive spirit.

Residents were delighted to receive such an unusual visit and many of them ventured outside for a closer look (wrapped up in blankets with hot water bottles!), while others had fun watching from the windows.

Residents admired the bikes and enjoyed chatting with the bikers over warm mince pies and hot drinks. Before they left the bikers promised to return in the summer so that residents who couldn’t come out in the cold could get a closer look at the fabulous bikes. They then performed their ‘biker’s salute’ as they left the home much to the delight of onlookers.
