Provider Radis says the Wales Care Awards do vital work in recognising the wonderful work done across the country to look after older and vulnerable people.

Director Samir Patel said: “Radis’s vision is to make a positive difference to people’s lives through outstanding community care, and the Wales Care Awards perfectly epitomise that vision.

“Over the years the awards have rewarded people for going the extra mile to provide care for people who can no longer care for themselves.

“At a time when social care doesn’t always get the positive recognition it deserves, these awards are a fantastic celebration of the work done by largely unsung heroes across the country, every single day.

“Radis was proud to support the awards and proud to sponsor the Leadership & Management in Supported Living/Small Community Award.”

The Wales Care Awards are an annual event run by Care Forum Wales to showcase best practice across the care sector and were held in Cardiff’s City Hall.

The Radis-sponsored award went to Nicola Bolton, Integra Community Living Options, Llanelli.

Radis is a community based care and support provider that was established in 2001. Since then, it has grown to become a leading provider of community-based social care and support for vulnerable adults and children living across England and Wales.

It has itself won awards for its care, including being named Care Employer of the Year at The Great British Care Awards for its efforts in ensuring staff feel valued and well trained.

Radis provides care across Wales through its branches in Caerphilly, Cwmbran, Monmouth and Welshpool.
