A new company that will provide high quality home care to people in the Cardiff area has been launched.

Heritage Healthcare Cardiff has received its registration from the Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales (CSSIW) and is excited to begin supporting people across the area who require support to remain living as independently as possible in their own homes.

Multi-lingual Jameela Rangoonwala, an ambitious and dedicated businesswoman with excellent management skills, drive and ambition, is the owner and director of Heritage Healthcare Cardiff.   Jameela has a determination to exceed client expectations and make a real and tangible difference to people’s lives.   She is also studying for a Level 5 diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services to further develop her knowledge of the sector.

Heritage Healthcare Cardiff will work with clients in Cardiff and surrounding towns and villages and is particularly equipped to provide much needed services within the ethnic minority community.

Jameela will be supported by Registered Care Manager Susan Wetherall.  An experienced, qualified care professional Susan has worked in the care sector for more than 20 years and has achieved NVQ Level 3 and 4 in Leadership and Management and is qualified to deliver high quality training to staff in the workplace.

Susan and Jameela have put together a hand-picked team of experienced, dedicated and friendly carers to deliver the best possible service to clients.

Heritage Healthcare Cardiff will arrange for carers to assist people in their own homes with practical and personal tasks.  This may be for a short while, after an accident or an illness, or it might be long term due to age, disability or other health problems.

It will also offer Supported Living services to people with physical disabilities or learning difficulties.  This includes helping people go to work, attend a day centre, participate in leisure activities or visit the shops.

Heritage Healthcare Cardiff will also be providing a round the clock live-in care service, which will enable people to remain independent for as long as possible in the comfort and familiarity of their own home.  Live-in care is an alternative to a residential or nursing home where carers live with clients and provide one-to-one assistance to offer freedom, choice and control to do what they want, when they want.

Jameela said:  “People want, and need, to stay in their own home where everything is familiar and family and friends can pop in any time.  Heritage Healthcare Cardiff is dedicated to providing the highest standards of care to enable people to maintain their independence, remain living in their own home and enjoy an excellent quality of life.

“I am delighted to be working with Susan to make this a reality and provide the best possible home care for all communities within the Cardiff area.”

Susan added:  “I am committed to building a fantastic team to provide the highest quality of care for our clients and their families, giving peace of mind to all concerned.  I look at people as individuals and focus on what they can do and achieve with our support.

“I am motivated to provide a service which changes people’s lives for the better and these are the principles I have instilled into our dedicated team.

“I get a great deal of satisfaction knowing that the people who I work with, or care for, are happy and fulfilled.  If our clients and their families are happy then I’m happy.”
