New Care Projects unveil The Grand in Nottingham

Bedroom Reception - CopyWith build well underway and the opening scheduled for March 2015, New Care Projects has exclusively unveiled plans for its £7 million care facility in West Bridgford.

The purpose-built 82 bed care home, located on Greythorne Drive, will be known as The Grand.  The impressive facility will benefit from an array of communal lounges and dining rooms, as well as boasting a cinema, a snoezelen room and retail coffee shop.  Each well-appointed bedroom will enjoy spacious en suite wet room facilities.

The Grand will also offer excellent hospitality, with a team of talented chefs providing restaurant-quality food for residents and relatives when they visit, plus concierge services.

On the medical side, The Grand will offer residential, nursing and dementia care services.  Its team of qualified nurses, carers and in-house occupational therapist and physiotherapist will deliver New Care’s ‘enablement’ philosophy; working with the individual to maintain their health and well-being, as well as encourage independence for as long as possible.

New Care is renowned for its high quality and dignified service offering for clients, and The Grand will continue this trend catering for the aspiring needs of its residents.

With the care home now taking shape, New Care Projects CEO, Chris McGoff, says: “We are pleased to unveil the finalised plans for The Grand, our superb 82 bed care home in West Bridgford.

The location in West Bridgford was specifically hand-picked for the home.  Having identified a gap in the market, we wanted to deliver a new-build setting in a prime residential area of Nottingham where we feel our brand and service offering will provide a strong support framework to the local health economy.”

The opening of The Grand early next year will create approximately 100 jobs and present a multi-million pound boost to the local community.

New Care Projects is the operator of two care homes in Greater Manchester.  The Grand will represent the group’s third care home; the first outside the North West heartland.

Whether it is long-term care, respite care, convalescence or simply a welcoming home-from-home in which to reside, New Care strives for excellence and seeks to always provide the best levels of care.
