Sylvia Wyatt enjoyed her 100th birthday party at a Haywards Heath residential home where she was presented with a gift and celebration cake.
With Mrs. Wyatt enjoying regular respite stays at Walstead Place in Haywards Heath, the staff and residents were keen to celebrate her milestone event. She enjoyed a birthday tea party with her friends at Walstead Place and was presented with an orchid plant, which is one of her favourites.
Walstead Manager, Jacqueline Ferguson said:
“Mrs. Wyatt stays with us for respite care and we wanted to mark the momentous occasion as she does visit us regularly. We had a lovely afternoon and everyone enjoyed the tea party.”
Located just a mile from Lindfield, Walstead Place is a 19th century former country squire’s residence, sensitively converted to provide residential and nursing care for up to 41 elderly ladies and gentlemen. The home is run by the family-owned Caring Homes Group.
