A very special ceremony took place in the gardens of Stocks Hall, St Helens Nursing Home on Sunday 7th September. Stocks Hall St Helens were delighted to welcome Deputy Mayor Stephen Glover and Deputy Mayoress Linda Glover of St Helens who gave an introductory speech to the ceremony. Friends, families and staff joined together for a reflective and thanksgiving time to remember loved ones that have gone on ahead. Further speeches, reflective readings, flower placing and lighting of candle lights by children and adults all contributed to making this event very meaningful.
Julie Gaskell Manager of Stocks Hall Nursing Home said “This is a very special annual event. Stocks Hall are delighted to give family and friends the opportunity to come together and remember loved ones in this way. Our memorial garden, in a very small way, lovingly honours the memory of the wonderful people who have previously lived within Stocks Hall Nursing Home. The motto of our garden is one throughout the whole of the Stocks Hall Group ….. Every Person is Valued. This event was purposed to demonstrate this.”
