Hulcott Nursing home took a step back in time when its annual garden party was themed around the ‘Roaring Twenties’.
Complete with flapper dresses, boas and pearls, the residents and staff alike joined together to make the afternoon event a great success.
The 19th Century house, which is part of the Caring Homes Group, provided the perfect backdrop for everyone to have a great time. Singer Jackie sang through a set of songs perfect the occasion. Visitors helped to raise £450 for the residents of Hulcott.
Hulcott Manager, Margaret Smart said:
“I was absolutely delighted to see so many relatives and friends at the party and we were completely overwhelmed by their generosity. The money raised will help to provide ‘those little extras’ for residents. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves which was lovely to see.”
