Scarecrows, harvest thanksgiving, cakes and dancing were amongst the activities enjoyed at Stocks Hall, Burscough Nursing Home this weekend.
Senior members of staff allowed themselves to be turned into scarecrows!
Laughter, fun, and quiet reflection were all part of the Sunday afternoon celebrations within Stocks Hall.
Traditional organ hymns were played, during a thanksgiving service, followed by cakes and dancing.
Every one participated and wheelchairs were no barrier as arms were raised, and legs kept tapping to the beat!
Sammi Molyneux, Manager of Stocks Hall Burscough said ”It is wonderful to see so many people celebrating life and all its fullness. We are so blessed to have so much in abundance in this country. At Stocks Hall we wanted to help people come and celebrate together.”
All money raised from this event will be given to the Macmillan Charity.
