Education and specialist care provider Cambian Group PLC Monday said it has agreed a deal to buy Ansel Ltd, a 24-bed clinic in Nottingham which provides services for men suffering from personality disorders.
Cambian did not provide any financial details of the transaction.
Cambian said the acquisition of Ansel will expand its Adult Mental Health services business and will allow the company to strengthen its relationship with NHS England and further expand this line of its business in the future.
“We are delighted with this acquisition, which enables us to expand our offer to customers in a new therapeutic area within our Adult Services division,” said Cambian Chief Executive Saleem Asaria.
“The acquisition of Ansel is in line with our strategy to undertake transactions which complement our existing business and enable us to reach new regions or deliver new services,” Asaria added.
Cambian shares were up 2.4% to 215 pence in early trade on Monday.
