Leonard Cheshire Disability has appointed a new Director of Services, Rosemarie Pardington, to lead the charity’s social care services in the UK.

Rosemarie has worked for Leonard Cheshire Disability for over 15 years, having joined as a Regional Director for London and Kent in 1999, and promoted to Managing Director in 2009.

Of her appointment Rosemarie said: “I am really looking forward to taking on my new role as Director of Services. It is a real privilege to lead Leonard Cheshire’s amazing team of dedicated social care staff across the UK. With each of us putting others first to deliver high quality, personalised care, we will continue to make a huge difference to disabled people on a daily basis.”

The Chief Executive of Leonard Cheshire Disability, Clare Pelham, said: “I’m really delighted to appoint Rosemarie as Director of Services. I know that, like all of us at Leonard Cheshire, Rosemarie gets up every morning to support disabled people as well as she can.  It is a particular pleasure in making this appointment to the Board of the charity to recognise not only all that she has achieved here in the past 15 years in partnership with our amazing staff and volunteers, but also the way she has done it.  I look forward to all that we will do together in future.”

As Director of Services, Rosemarie has overall responsibility for all our social care services in the UK providing daily choice to thousands of disabled people about the support they wish to receive to enable them to live their lives the way they choose.
