Diana Leech, a client of Hampshire home care provider Caremark (Winchester & Eastleigh) was celebrating recently having successfully completed the Southampton Race for Life in aid of Cancer Research earlier in the month.
This was Diana’s first attempt to get round the 5km course which she did in a creditable 1.5 hours buzzing along in her motorized wheelchair. Pictured is Sam Buckland, a friend of Diana’s, who accompanied her around the course and was delighted to see Diana receive her medal. This was a fantastic achievement for Diana who was justifiably delighted not only to get round the course but also to raise over £400 for Cancer Research.
Diana and her husband Peter have been clients of Caremark (Winchester & Eastleigh) for the past 4 years. They both lead busy, independent lives, supported by Caremark to maintain their hobbies and interests and remain living comfortably at home.
Caremark (Winchester & Eastleigh) provide care and support to people of all ages and abilities who wish to remain living safely and independently at home.
