Oakbridge Care Home on Great Western Road in Glasgow will be holding its annual summer fete this Saturday, 19th July between 2pm and 4pm. The care home has announced that everyone is welcome, and there will be an extravaganza of fun for all of the family.
Oakbridge Care Home, part of the Lambhill Court Ltd family of care homes provides up to 85 places for the frail elderly, and within this 6 places for younger persons with chronic conditions. The home caters for residential and nursing clients.
The £2 entrance fee includes BBQ and entertainment will include live music, sing a-longs, face painting, tombola, bottle stall, jewellery stall, raffle, home baking and much more.
Residents and staff are looking forward to the event.
Amy Malhorta, Oakbridge Care Home’s Manager said: “We hope that the local public will come to the event – we will provide a fun afternoon of entertainment for all. This event is just one of a vast range of events and activities organised for the people who live with us throughout the year by our Activities Team. We engage the local community whenever possible.
“These events, which are enjoyed by all, provide an excellent opportunity for family members to engage with other residents’ families in a social setting. Let’s hope for some sunshine to make the event a smashing success.”
