Lindsay Hall Nursing Home residents go multi-cultural!

Every month, Lindsay Hall Nursing Home in Bexhill on Sea holds an international themed afternoon to introduce residents to a variety of different cultures across the world.

So far they’ve ‘visited’ Australia, Japan, Italy, France and Hawaii.  Staff dress up in national costume, talk about the country and serve local delicacies.  The next destination is India!

Managing Director of Galleon Care Homes, Julien Payne, is very impressed: “This is a great idea for engaging the residents; it’s different, fun but also informative and stimulating. I’m sure the international fare goes down equally as well and I suspect some of our other homes may take up the idea – as an avid curry fan, I’ll be looking forward to India!”
