Glasgow based Lambhill Court Ltd is hosting a special event for The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Celebrations on Tuesday, 5th June at 2pm at 40 Lambhill Street, Kinning Park, Glasgow, G41 1AU.
Formed in 1987, with five care homes for the elderly based in and around Glasgow and employing a 350-strong workforce, Lambhill Court Ltd has experience of more than 20 years in the care of elderly people and is an equal opportunities employer.
MSP Nicola Sturgeon and a variety of special guests will be in attendance including Margaret Colville who was at the Queen’s Coronation at Buckingham Palace in 1953. This event promises to be even more spectacular than last year’s Royal Wedding event with well-loved singer Christian performing from 2:00-3:00pm.
A buffet style lunch will be served at 2:00pm followed by a cake cutting ceremony to mark the Diamond Jubilee celebrations and presentation of special Jubilee souvenirs to the residents.
Sunita Poddar, Managing Director said: “This event is just one of a vast range of activities and events organised for the people who live with us throughout the year by our Activities Team and they really enjoy the whole buzz surrounding the build up to the events, performances and mixing with the community.”
Lambhill Court’s Activities Team, Mary Fox and Tommy Donegan added: “We have been planning this event for quite a while and everyone is looking forward to our event on Tuesday. Lambhill Court will be adorned in red, white and blue balloons, banners and decorations, some of which were created by the people who live with us and their carers.”
