Award-winning local property developer Conroy Brook is proud to announce that they have successfully completed the build on a brand new care home in the Oakes area of Huddersfield. The Oakes Care Centre, a luxury 60-bed care home offering state-of-the art care and accommodation, has been handed over to owners Meridian Healthcare who are already welcoming their first residents to the site.

To celebrate the successful completion of the build, footballers Andy Booth and Jordan Rhodes from Huddersfield Town FC were invited for an exclusive tour of the facility.

Conroy Brook also develop luxury retirement complexes for the over 55’s, including Somersbury Court, a landmark development of two bedroom apartments that was awarded Best Design at the 2010 Housebuilder of the Year Awards. They have also recently submitted a planning application to redevelop a disused brownfield site into a 46 apartment residential complex for the over 55’s in the heart of Holmfirth.

The Prickleden Mill site is designed with future residents’ lifestyles and well-being in mind, with community areas, landscaped gardens and easy access to Holmfirth town centre all accounted for. The development will also restore the mill dam, providing a fantastic outside space for residents and wildlife alike.
