Formed in 1987, with five care homes for the elderly based in and around Glasgow and employing a 350-strong workforce, Lambhill Court Ltd has experience of more than 20 years in the care of elderly people and is an equal opportunities employer.
The Eat Safe Award is administered by Local Authority Environmental Health Services in conjunction with the Food Standards Agency.
Eat Safe consists of a single tier of award granted by local authorities to establishments meeting standards of food hygiene which are over and above those required by current food hygiene legislation.
Lambhill Court was assessed for the award as part of scheduled food hygiene inspections, carried out by Local Authority Environmental Health Services, who also issue and control the Eat Safe Award certificates. This is the second home within the Lambhill Court Ltd family of care homes to have achieved this Award, Florence House received the Eat Safe Award in November 2011.
