CMG, the UK’s leading independent provider for people with learning disabilities and complex needs, today announced the appointment of its new Chief Executive, Peter Kinsey, effective 1st March 2012.
In his position as CMG Managing Director over the past five years, Peter has played a pivotal role in the company’s continued growth and improvement, and his promotion to Chief Executive reflects this significant contribution. He has also shown impressive leadership across the organisation, introducing many new service user-focussed initiatives (such as rolling out a staff training programme in Person Centred Active Support), promoting service user voices throughout CMG, and driving up quality ratings. CMG, founded over a decade ago now supports over 600 people throughout England and Wales with learning disabilities and associated complex needs.
Peter’s new remit includes additional responsibilities for Assessment and Referrals, Marketing, New Business, Finance and Information Technology. A new Operations Director will be appointed to support Peter with his existing day-to-day role, overseeing the operational running of CMG’s 112 services across England and Wales.
