Home Instead Senior Care will serve clients in Newcastle upon Tyne and surrounding areas and is part of a national network recognised as one of theUK’s leading in home care organisations. Home Instead is being set up locally by business partners Cath Fullerton and Rob Jackson. Their philosophy is simple; to provide a service which will enable older people to live independently in their own homes for as long as possible while improving their quality of life.
Between them Cath and Rob have many years’ experience of caring for people. Cath has worked for the NHS as a nurse for the past 30 years whilst Rob has recently had first hand experience of trying to find the right sort of quality care for his parents, both of whom had health problems.
Cath comments, ‘‘After initially approaching me for advice on recruitment, Rob and I realised we had complementary skills and experience and decided to become business partners. Rob had already been developing plans to get involved with Home Instead and soon we decided upon opening up our own office in the area. We were both keen to find a career that allowed us to help others and we could not think of anything more rewarding than helping to provide local people with a high-quality stay-at-home option for themselves and their loved ones.”
Cath continues, “Our service allows our clients to remain in their own homes for as long as possible and is tailored entirely to the needs of each and every individual. We are really excited about our new venture and are already seeing the difference our service is making to the quality of life of not only our clients, but their families too.”
The business partners are now on the look out for like-minded people to join their team. Rob comments, “We are keen to hear from people who are looking for a rewarding and flexible career delivering care to people in their own homes. We offer full training so experience is not necessary but candidates must be caring, compassionate and keen to learn.”
