The English Community Care Association (ECCA), the leading representative charity for independent care providers, has today responded to the National Audit Office Report on the efficiency of CQC.
Martin Green, Chief Executive of ECCA, says:
“The National Audit Office report has identified a range of failings and inefficiencies within the Care Quality Commission and it is important that the Commission address these findings and work hard to improve their performance and efficiency”.
Martin Green continues:
“An efficient and effective regulator is the cornerstone of a high quality care market and care providers are all committed to working together with the regulator to identify issues and to help it craft solutions”
